John, personally I'd like to have a handset that flipped open to reveal a small but complete keyboard (like the Nokia model) and a small track ball like I had on my lap top at one time. This combined with a CyberDisplay headset that could plug into the phone would get me surfing the net from behind the wheel of my 4,900 lb SUV at 80 MPH ready to run over anyone in my way (excuse the graphic nature of this comment but I've been reading some Hunter S. Thompson lately and I could help but get caught up in his gonzo style of writing).

No seriously, think about it, a handset with a small keyboard would allow you to send wireless e-mails (that's step one on the road to wireless data adoption) and a mini track ball coupled with a removable CyberDisplay headset would allow you to plug in and surf the net to gain information like you do on your desktop. I travel a lot for work and I can't tell you how many times I'd like to download a map or search for a restaurant on the web if it were fast, convenient, graphic and affordable. Or say your out with friend or significant other and you want to see a movie but don't have a newspaper. You would stop the car log on to Movies.com and find out what playing close to your maybe even download a trailer of something that's new. Yeah, yeah, yeah, if you have a phone why don't you just call the movie line? I'll tell ya, I don't want to listen through the ten movie listings that I don't want to see just to get to the one I do (multiply this by the five theaters in your area). This is the power of the internet. You can search for just the info you want and quickly bypass what you don't need. O
