progress report: Got my new 4100 up and running. W2K does not look really unfamiliar. Haven't found a resource meter yet. Guess they think I won't need one. Gotten so attached to it trying to keep W98 afloat. Successfully transferred some files using Zip 100 no problem. Haven't decided whether to get a 56k modem for it or wait til I get DSL. Machine came with Norton Antivirus 2000. The machine came with 2.6 gigs of stuff on the hard drive already!! Glad I got a really big hard drive (40 gig). This one is already in Fat32.

Bought the battery for the XPSR400 but haven't taken the time to reboot and record my system settings yet. I like the digital camera idea (thanks Cheeky) but don't have one yet. My clock is losing time fast, so I know the battery is fading fast.

best,

Rick
