You inspired me Q - look see - Average Joe Canada The Right Honorable Lloyd Axworthy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ottawa, Canada Most Honorable Minister: TRUTH COMPASSION TOLERANCE Today in a Canadian prison a business man and his wife languish. The have committed no crime but circumnavigated the corrupt law and politics of the Chinese Communists. Are your intentions to send these innocent people to Zhu Rhonji and his firing squad in China? Lai Changxing and his wife Tsang Minga are similar to those Chinese who fled to Canada in the late 1800's. That Chinese labor and initiative built railways, highways and mines and they perhaps contributed more to the Nation of Canada than any other cultural group. The Chinese contributions served their own rational self-interest. Are we to disrespect their memory and turn our backs on their principals and our own? All for the whim of a foreign outlaw government? Canada is imprisoning people we should be embracing. Instead we cower in front of a foreign band of thugs. The practitioners of Falun Gong (translated Falun Gong means Truth-Compassion-Tolerance) would like to know why Canada populates it's prisons with innocent human beings. The proponents of free and equitable trade (capitalism) would like to know where Canada stands with the imprisonment of innocent business people. The cessation of enterprise has no basis moral or logical in this country or on this planet at anytime. Any agreement with the brutal Chinese dictators entrenches them morally and politically. The only right decision you can make is to release these people so they can start a new life as Canadians. You have no moral or legal authority to keep them in a Canadian prison. Yours truly
