"corrales is going to lose. i just hope he doesn't whine like vargas. just carry him out on his shield and be done with it. next!" #reply-15213223

he's beginning to whine, blaming his stepdad for stopping the fight. i believe chico was down as many times as vargas was in his fight against trinidad.... five times. and like vargas, chico had never been down before. ha!

yeah, this first loss looks like it's really going to take its toll on corrales. and the similarity continues there with vargas. i've already said that i don't think vargas will go on to be the force that many think he will be. i've always felt vargas was overrated. his best fights are behind him. truth be told, at the moment, corrales' future looks a bit shaky too. that's how thoroughly he was dominated tonight.

the kind of beating mayweather administered tonight on corrales was evident in the post fight interview. i take nothing away from corrales. he tried, but lord knows he has to learn how to hold his right hand up. and how to punch when he comes forward. corrales weighed 16 pounds over the 130lb limit when the fight started, and mayweather was not bothered by the difference. mayweather did nothing, not one single thing, wrong. it was one of the best demonstrations of all around boxing and power punching that i have ever seen.

mayweather was all about business in there. corrales was outgunned from the opening bell.

congratulations to floyd mayweather!

:)
