Well now, lets see, all this minority disenfranchisement and the voting rights commission fails to produce one, yeah thats right, not even one eligible voter who was denied the right to vote. Additionaly they claimed that the purge of voter roles unfairly affected blacks. Yet black voters turned out and voted in record numbers. Do ya think maybe, just maybe the claim of black disenfranchisement is just total f$%!ing bullchit ?

H-Man, I get the impression, not of deliberate disenfranchisement, but of a really shoddy, messed up process. Moter-voter registrations never made it onto the rolls, faulty scrub lists were used, registered voters weren't on the voter lists but felons were, etc. And the poll workers had no way to check the rolls but via a jammed phone line. I know I started hearing complaints on Election Day.

Poor urban districts were hit worst and the black grassroots concluded that it was deliberate, given the animosity between them and the governor's office. I do get the impression that voting was a user-unfriendly experience in Florida.
