All numbers seem to indicate that somewhere between 50 and 100 million Indians have the consumer power to buy goods such as TVs(70 million), Cable TV (35 million), Scooters/motorcycles (6 million a year). So it is possible that with reduced prices mobile subcriber numbers in India could rise from 3 million to 30 million in the next 5 years. Probably 50 percent CDMA. Still a decent growth number for the CDMA market.
