Over many years, the independents have done most of the exploration work and drilled most of the wildcats in the patch. And they've been much better in responding to market trends. Where's the gas? The drillers were sitting idle and now we have a NG shortage that is effecting power production...not exactly an example of good long term planning. Zeuspaul
