kodiak bull, There were some aftershocks from California's rolling blackouts into adjacent states. for e.g., I got a call from DEMA friday afternoon while in Phoenix.

They had received a call from DEMA-Nevada asking for assistance and short term supply diversion of JP4 and diesel fuel.

The rolling blackouts in California had tripped the power to a 9,000 bbl/day products pipeline that emanated eastward from a California-based refinery to Las Vegas. Timers on the pumping units along the pipeline needed 12-24 hours to reset and also additional time to rebuild hydraulic pressure. Meanwhile Las Vegas would be short of diesel and jet fuel.

They asked Arizona for assistance and I received a call at the Power Authority cross checking that Arizona's products markets were served from the east out of Texas by the major Kinder-Morgan Products Pipeline and not from the West from California before DEMA Arizona released their backup suplies and equipment...So some shock waves come outward from the blast zone....
