Let me sum it up and see if I understand you right. To evaluate the system in order to make necessary corrections if needed you suggest using historical rather than own recent trades because perception of those is distorted by emotions remembered. At the same time, analysis of one's own trades is invaluable for deeper understanding of one's emotional reactions. This understanding eventually is supposed to help to prevent harmful reactions and breed helpful ones. Sounds right to me! Vadym
