Pete - Re:"You ever hear of the Gulf of Mexico? Conveniently forget about it? If you have not heard of it, its that big sea south of the Mississippi and east of Mexico. Lots of petroleum there under it."

Bush said Mexico is a source of domestic oil-- as in "nation of" not "Gulf of" .

Here is some lying, media propaganda that you probably want to ignore that affirms Bush thinks that drilling in Mexico will produce domestic oil.

He wants more energy exploration in Mexico so we won't be so dependent on foreign oil.

Besides, sorry you have not heard, but the Gulf of Mexico is a body of international water -- just like the North Sea in the Atlantic ocean.
