The managers who started the New Year underweight in tech stocks are now staring at the dust of the Nasdaq Composite, which is up over 20% YTD. A push through Nasdaq 3000 on good volume could bring a lot of that money off the sidelines, not wanting to miss the entire ride. Although we may pull back a bit after the Fed meeting, the change in market psychology the past 2 weeks almost ensures that the big players will be buying the dips.
