The article makes no mention of SMT for Sledgehammer. And indeed, it is highly unlikely that Sledgehammer will be SMT capable. At best, Sledgehammer may be CMT (Coarse-grained Multi Threaded) and CMP.

I suspect however, that AMD is working on making K9 SMT capable. I would look for K9 in 2004.
