SystemSoft Licenses Verity's SEARCH'97 Technology NATICK, Mass. (Dow Jones)--SystemSoft Corp. (SYSF) said it will license Verity Inc.'s (VRTY) SEARCH'97 technology for integration into its SystemWizard line of problem-resolution products. Financial terms were not disclosed. In a press release Tuesday, SystemSoft said SystemWizard users can now retrieve text-based answers locally or across remote solution repositories, which saves time and reduces support calls to manufacturers. SystemSoft will ship the new version to original equipment manufacturers in mid-1997. Verity, based in Sunnyvale, Calif., develops and markets software tools and applications for searching, retrieving and filtering information across the Internet, enterprise and CD-ROMs. SystemSoft is a system-level software, connectivity and problem-resolution technologies company.
