Farmers in China has never been the same as the farmers in the US for the last few centuries, here's why:
Most farmers in the US were immigrants from Europe, mostly from Ireland and other parts of the European continent. They were more pragmatic than the Chinese counterpart because they had learnt past mistakes and suffered from the bad system in Europe. They knew how to explore and educate themselves thru lessons from the past, unlike the Chinese farmers who are only worried about producing good products in quantities and qualities, before the next natural disaster strikes on their lands. The Chinese farmers are hard-working, but they mostly know nothing about the politics abroad and even in their own country. They probably do not know what an election is.... or what kind of rights they should have. Don't overestimate the education level of the farmers in China. Some of them don't even know how to read & write a single Chinese character, even though they are Chinese. They only know how to plant, spour water, lay sh*t on the ground, and pushing mothers of all cows. Just what would happen if all of the sudden all the farmers in China become materialistic and want better lives, once they know there's a better world called USA ? 900 million of them could swim across the Pacific Ocean and into the US, trying to live the best quality of lives as they can. Ssssshhh, please don't tell them there's a better world out there...

Why ?? If Islamic fundamentalist militant groups were sitting next to US border, and they threaten us simply by holy decrees, how would you want to deal with them ? Describe how in detail please.

Why ? Democracy is good for educated people, like us. But a democracy without a central govt control is an anarchy. Whenever there's a transition in power, you'd better be ready for war, because there could be a period of anarchy.
