As far as AMD 760 based motherboards, the situation has so far not cleared up. The current Gigabyte motherboard doesn't support 133 MHz FSB. Asus A7M266 does, but it doesn't support changing multipliers, and since there are no chips sold to be hard wired to do 133 MHz FSB.

Even the fact that many 1.2 GHz chips are sold unlocked is not going to help with A7M266. So anybody waiting for 133 MHz FSB needs to either wait for the CPUs hardwired for this FSB, or a motherboard that can change multipliers.

It looks like Abit KGB (oops KG7) motherboard may be the I will end up waiting for. I was hoping to go with Asus, but Asus needs to get their act together, and release the version with optional LAN chip included and with the multiplier adjustments working.

I was hoping that one of the Big Boys of hardware testing (Anand or Tom) would clear up the situation, but so far no updates from them.

On the bright side, Mike Andrews of Anandtech has just released his review of Abit KT7A board: anandtech.com
