Looks like Cancun on Spring break (which is the week after Easter this year) has the most votes. Jim hasn't set the date, as that depends upon accomodating as many folks schedules as we can. So you should PM him ASAP to let him know what are the best day(s) are for you. We oughta get crackin' if we're going to actually do this.
For those of you who haven't been there, Cancun is one of the great international destinations. Met as many Europeans as Latin Americans, or North Americans there last year.
One of the worlds best beaches AND some of the worlds best human scenery (g). Montego Bay, Jamacia; Cartegena, Colombia; Nassau, Bahamas; or Isla de Cozumel, Mexico have great beaches. But Cancun, IMHO, es numero uno. Let me put it this way: If you are single? Don't come...you may never leave!
You can gamble, or go to all kinds of shows. Great shopping with local crafts as well as items from many other countries. There are quiet, elegant restaurants, very trendy ones, very nice Mexican ones, Italian, simple fare and of course US fast foods if you get homesick.
And OF COURSE viewers of the E-Channel's "Wild On" series know, there are some unbelievably wild clubs in Cancun. Senior Foxes, (and others) where it's common for visiting and local beauties to suddenly bare their endowments and dance on the tables.
If Iso were to show at Senior Foxes? Mrs Patch could be relied on to "administer" the rolling pin with gusto! LOL. That is, if ole Iso didn't have a heart attack enjoying the festivities first!(G)
But our younger members might really get into the swing of it. How bout it Diana? Bring your girlfriends and show em what American girls are made of!
Back outdoors. There's great place where adults or children can swim in small groups with Dolphins.
On the beach licensed vendors can send you skyward on a parachute pulled behind their speed boat. Unless you'd rather sail or cruise offshore.
Then there's scuba diving trips to several offshore reefs. (Best one is day trip to a reef off Cozumel where my 2 son's want to dive). Excardog is reef diving in Kona right now. So if he's coming for the party, he might want to check out the reefs near Cozumel also.
And for those who like to see the most important Mayan temple complexes, there are several guided day tours to choose from.
JimP and I have PMed a number of times about the party and have dreamed up some activities should be fun AND funny.
