In the case of the military and the local police, you honestly wouldn't want it to be otherwise. Bland feels the Justice system should be considered no differently.

I agree that the justice system and the police should be considered in the same light. The police are allowed to use deadly force only when it is necessary, when no other means will serve to protect lives. I believe the justice system should be held to the same standard, and that we should not be killing anyone unless it is necessary.
