Otherwise using strong dollars to buy cheap assetsa in a cheap currency makes sense. I'v eput a fair amount in Russia where assets are extremely cheap and Russia is keeping the Ruble cheap to maintain a good competitve position. Have we ever seen a country become wealthy while running large trade deficits? Certainly, we have seen the opposite. Where's Lawrence when you need him although he's a Harvard liberal?
