My guess is $55/MWH is the maximum price utility companies are willing to buy. Otherwise they have to increase the selling price, or suffer a loss. Davis is very clear if the energy bill increases, CA will be in recession. Most tech companies will move their facilities out-of-state. The $400 million - $1 billion spending bill passed last week will buy 12 days for the state. Let's see if he can pull of anything within two weeks.
