I believe right after the merger that Montgomery Security projected earnings per share of $1.00 for next year. Since then, Montgomery Security retracted their estimates until JTS shows sales growth and improved margins for this year. Lets give JTS the benefit of the doubt and say they hit first call for the 4th quarter of 12 cents. If JTS was to have sequential growth for the following year or even flat sales, they might have 48 cents ($0.12 x 4 quarters) of earnings for next year. Multiply this by a multiple of 15 and now you have $5.76 stock. This is assuming flat sales based on fourth quarter results.

As Xmonger says, this will be a bust or a hero. I believe JTS will do fine this year, but the stock will move on them meeting projected forecasts for this year. Once this happens, Montgomery Security will come out with a projection for next year. People will then invest on JTS future potential and not current earnings. Others anaylst may then follow.

What I like most about JTS is how they are focusing on the future. They are investing a lot in research and development, and are delivering new products. They keep coming with new features to the 3.0 drives thus making a better arguement of the 3.0 replacing the 2.5 drives as a standard.

Good Luck All,

Ozzy
