laodeng,

this is the official welcome. I just need to know how "lao" is "lao"? How do I know that you are not just a geeky kid like mightyL trying to fool laoSu? :-)

China is confusing and worrying a lot of q investors. I wonder if you have any contacts that can check on the following:

1) who is currently providing handsets to the Great Wall subs?

2) the great wall network in the five cities still have a few hundred thousand excess capacity, are they advertizing for new subscribers now?

3) it would make the most sense for Unicom to upgrade those cities (Beijing, Shanghai, Xian, Tianjing and GuangZhou) since there are probably 40+ million pop. Is anyone doing anything there?

4) qc supposedly has a ton of tech transfer that had taken place since the license agreements. For all practical purpose, unicom/China does not have any type of CDMA system up right now. Wouldn't it make the most sense for them to do start right at 1X, or 1X + HDR? This will help China leap frog to the state of the art system?
