Thanks for the Average True Range suggestion. I'll look at it. I've certainly been ranging far and wide for a formula to keep B band signals within a reasonable range.

On the matter of envelope moving averages, 20 does work well (even better in some cases), as you suggest, but with some stocks it limits sell signals too much. 89 gives the bands more opportunities to get above the envelopes. Rather ironic that I'm now trying to give the bands more leeway, with a system designed to curb their excesses, huh? I was too tough on them, I suppose.

Anyway, I'm stuck with 89 in my newbie report for TAOTN. After I send it, I think I'll keep resending it to Richard every day, with new moving averages, vertical shifts, etc. Just kidding, Richard.
