Rono, can you comprehend simple English? This is what I said:

I thought Nextel bowed out of the recent spectrum auctions early without spending a penny, already had enough spectrum to meet their four-year business plan. Hmmmmmm....

Now how is that any different from what you claim:

You thought wrong Bux. Nextel has current capacity for 4 to 5 times times existing customer base or 25 to 30 million users.

O.K., I said I thought they had enough spectrum to meet their four-year plan, you say wrong, they have enough capacity for 4 to 5 times the existing customer base. Are you saying that they don't have enough spectrum to meet their 4 year business plan or that they have enough to take them well beyond 4-years?

Or are you just disagreeing because you like to disagree with me?

In either case, the question still stands. Why do they need to raise yet another $1.2 Billion (with a capital "B")? They claim it is to "expand" their network and pay off other debt. Didn't they sell $2 Billion in junk bonds in December of 1999? Now another $1.2 Billion? And they are paying 9.5% interest? Ouch!
