Thanks Ramsey, my info mostly are from read and heard, take it FWIW.

1. Currently only mot and samsung handsets available and only limited models too. Not the newest models and hard to compete with all the fancy models of GSM you don't even see here in the US. However, per min charge is about 30% lower than GSM.

2. Subs has increased from 200k to 550k "without permissions".

3. All the promotions and network construction stopped after Unicom takeover for management reasons.

4. Very much desired for 1x, but mightylakers said it is not feasible at this time. And it's Unicom major hesitation that the upgrading cycle is already started in other places of the world.

ps. Have been this "lao" since elementry school time. :)
