Semiconeng, thread, here's some good news: Yahoo throwing their business Compaq's way (preferred provider) for just about everything for their Internet infrastructure needs. Might be Intel inside all the products mentioned, not sure about the storage or high perf servers (could be Alphas). Doesn't sound like Yahoo wants any Sun, at least from this article. Industry standard hardware turning the corner vs. Sun? Yahoo! has selected Compaq as its preferred provider for industry-standard and high-performance servers, host-attached storage, desktops, laptops, handhelds and related professional services.
