There is something about this market that I find most delightful and that is its disregard for the obvious.

Whether it is the glut of semis, the bloated PC inventories, the sagging consumer borrowing, the soggy cell situation, the dot com carnie pitch, the American collar stance at the edge of the cliff, or the staggering gold short scene, this market refuses to see the obvious until it is stuck in their bleeding corneas. With apologies to one of my heros, "never in the field of human conflict (market) was so much, provided to so few (shorts) by so many (sheep)". (g)
