Well, they (futures they) have the Fed Funds Futures at a full 50 basis point cut for the upcoming FOMC meeting. Going out further (March) they have a further cut of 50 basis points. That is less reliable, given it's only now the end of January. The Fed Future for next week is very reliable, however. Within 2 weeks of the meeting the Futures seem to be a very accurate guide. I got most of this from Insana on CNBC...but he usually a pretty smart cookie, er bear.

Overall, looks like things are stalling out here on COMPX...the closing at -12 seems a bit strong given most of what I was watching. Interesting enough to me.

Let's see what TXN has to say...the bad news seems exhausted for the boxes, not much blood left in many of these, maybe they can point to strength away from pc's. TXN a good proxy for the SOXX
