JRH, The Compaq/Yahoo announcement on Yahoo News is more specific regarding the storage. It states: "Under the terms of the agreement, Yahoo! has selected Compaq as its preferred provider for industry-standard and high-performance servers, host-attached storage, desktops, laptops, handhelds and related professional services. Compaq will provide a substantial portion of Yahoo!'s Internet infrastructure and ``power'' the most heavily visited sites on the Yahoo! network." I think this is the direct attached storage of which Compaq is a leader. Fortune magazine in its recent article which listed NTAP as Number 4 in the 100 fastest growing companies, said that NTAP ships a new filer to Yahoo every other week. They have a very good relationship with Yahoo. Yahoo's storage needs are precisely met by NTAP's filer design. Best, Duncan
