Regarding the Jan 25th meeting, I am a total QCOM supporter but if I hear that they are working on a "GSM" deal again for the third or fourth time, I am really going to puke. What is taking them so long? They thought that they were very close to a deal a year ago. Second, can someone please tell me how does a Korean phone line ISP cost compare to a 1x/64k. Third, how can a company like QCOM miss so big on a venture like Globalstar? How did they miss calculate their figures for revenue? Since the dishes are already installed and running, why can't they offer free service for the first 6 months to bring in new customers. That kind of tactic worked really well for AOL. Fourth, if CDMA is truly cheaper than TDMA, why isn't Sprint and Verizon offering lower rates? Why aren't the CDMA people showing some of their power? GGamer QCOM, Toll Gate to 3G Spinco, Engine to 3G (where is it?)
