Texas Instruments missed the consensus number tonite saying that they thought they'd make the number but that December had been bad. WHAT KIND OF CRAP IS THAT??? They still coulda warned! CPQ had better get .28 or better, or the stock is in the dumper forever. As you say, if they could beat by a penny and not guide down for '01, much as IBM did, CPQ shares would be in Fat City! El
