I hope they don't release anything about their results with CEA antibody directed therapy of advanced medullary thyroid cancer. I went to the presentation at 1130 today in San Antonio...very discouraging results. Basically, they showed that no matter how high the level of radiation they were able to concentrate in the tumor, there was no therapeutic effect. Granted, these are advanced cases, but still discouraging.

Of course, this doesn't change the other results they've presented which have been very positive.

LeukoScan still looking to be their biggest drug, in my opinion.
It should replace WBC scanning for all types of infections eventually.

Diatide's techtide agent is well behind leukoscan in the approval process and I have heard second hand that the images with their agent stink - for lack of a better adjective.

It would be nice if Mallinckrodt actually does buy them out, but I've been hearing rumors of that for months and months. The sale of their veterinary division did catch my attention, however. Who knows?

Before anyone asks, that is the one and only IMMU related presentation I have seen up to now. I missed the appendicitis and CEAScan breast cancer talks (didn't get here on time), but am intimately familiar with the former having enrolled a few patients in the study myself.
