Not sure how much faith I could put into BCGI preparing for wireline to wireless transition as they have not publicly announced their intentions beyond prepaid services. You do pose a very interesting question. What other use (revenue) can BCGI derive from their natiionwide network infrastructure once the C2C network is in place? What new products and services can be realized with this type of architecture? Given the recuring revenue model, what other services can be sold "by the drink" off this platform. This system could very well be integrated with other hardware and software to provide services that carrier's pay for as their subscriber usage grows. The success of BCGI's prepaid service clearly demonstrates that carriers perfer this method. It definitely reduces their upfront cost as well as support issues that would be involved in a turnkey equipment sale. Has anyone heard of any plans by BCGI to expand the services offered on C2C?
