Applications of the type Geodan is pursuing are interesting wrt Kopin: Geodan Mobile Solutions Geodan Mobile Solutions is one of the first European companies to develop and market wireless location-based services. Building upon fifteen years of experience in the spatial information market, Geodan Mobile Solutions has developed wireless location-based services for businesses and consumers, such as P-Info and AmsterdamToGo. Police agents use P-Info to access the police databases with browser-enabled smart phones and PDAs in a secure environment. P-Info combines remote access to information with location intelligence and track-and-trace capabilities. It is the first full-scale implementation of a wireless location-enabled application for the professional market in Europe. AmsterdamToGo enables residents and tourists to access information on Amsterdam. It combines proximity searches with point-to-point directions, search suggestions and mapping capabilities for display on smart phones.
