In the news today....
"With the first deliveries of Russian palladium expected to reach Tokyo on Thursday, there is an understandable degree of nervousness in the market," said GNI Ltd. in its daily market report.

However, "after four consecutive years of export delays lasting for at least six months it is understandable that there is some skepticism over the move," it added.

However, a collapse in prices isn't necessarily expected if the metal is delivered, as there may not be enough to go around and traders could be looking for spot sales to supplement supplies, sources said.

Palladium was fixed at $1,068/oz in London Tuesday morning, from $1,080/oz Monday afternoon.
