Richard you could look at it both ways as the people of Japan saying there is something wrong with our government and questioning what goes on with their dollars.

I tend to think the vast majority don't question anything other then when a nation is in election or starvation mode.

A consumers group wished to get into see the governor office yesterday here in CA. The mind set was do not increase my pocket load due to your electric problem. In the meantime with Fed tax reduction and state being left with pick up the slack the fact becomes an increase in state tax. Governor Grey has major migraine at this moment.

His migraine is being echoed all over silicon valley. Some of the whizzes in Silicon valley could come up a new power solution to solve their own needs, just as the state increases their taxes to cover costs of building utility plants. OUCH

Shipping on the west cost could end being at a port farther north. Letting my imagination run loose, in pure fiction you could have Vancouver whose economy has been a bit distressed become a major port due to less costly labor. Due to the efficiency of the Canadian postal system Shaw a cable operator ready for additional load will be a hero for a few months.

In the meantime all the steel structures in OHIO have just doubled in price.

Have you in all your years ever seen food prices decrease on a year to year basis? Do seniors that are not well heeled complain about the price of drugs because they have nothing better to complain about? Are farmers profits so vast that they are going to lower prices? Is California not an Ag area? Do these acres not have irrigation systems?
