OTOT/California, to bail them out or not to bail them out: Assuming CA has contributed to ~12% of GDP, the question is...how much did The Nation give to CA in terms of: -Medicare Welfare ( Medicare is a welfare system, ) -Medicaid subsidies -Disability subsidies -immigrants having their Medicare paid off, when they never started paying into the system early on, and did not contribute to it -other subsidies etc Maybe one of our more knowledgable SI threaders on the ins and outs of Welfare subsidies can help... my point: did the nation already perhaps gave to CA, more then CA gave us? So that, if CA comes cup in hand, we can say " we already gave ...." :-) TA@LookinAtTheDynamicsOf.com
