I think I misunderstood. I think we are using two different definitions of "content management".

I guess I should be more precise and say Content Management software (to start) which includes (but is not limited to) the infrastructure.

I realize that's still vague, and I'll try to find a precise definition.

<EDIT>First attempt:
Content Management is the management of the process of authoring, storing, publishing and viewing/editing content. Content may be in any medium, including video, audio, web content, proprietary binary formats (e.g. MS Office), and paper. (Obviously these are not all of the possible media.)
