APCC on this rumor: 1:54PM American Power (APCC) 17 7/16 +1 (+6.1%): Heavy call buying in stock this morning is leading to renewal of rumor that EMC Corp (EMC 78 3/4 +2 1/4) is interested in making a bid for the company. Speculation has been around for some time and at least a few followers of the stock are questioning the likelihood of such a deal.
