Whitey, as a young man..(1967) I don't remember Brussels...too cosmopolitan for a soldier..we mostly hung out in bars and then discovered Amsterdam was a WHOLE lot more fun. I have been there since on business 5 years ago. Without offending anyone, I thought it was dull compared to other major cities in Europe.....there are some elegant art museums but Brussels is a commerce centered city...seat of the European union....brush up on your Flemish and French.
