figuring that the worst case is : you happen
to get "in" when the stock is "ahead of itself," but ... you will most probably be "bailed out" by the spectacular growth of the business.

If you are having a lot of these serious hesitations about going long, chances are that a many other people are ALSO having the same hesitations, thus ...

Everyone is NOT yet "in" (the way they all were with Cisco Systems or JDS Uniphase -- earlier this year), so ...

If KREM had growth like Cisco or JDSU then maybe the high valuation would just mean the stock is ahead of itself but Krispy Kreme is not growing like those two companies.

From SI's profiles

KREM - "For the 39 weeks ended 10/29/00,
revenues rose 36% to $218.9M.

CSCO - "For the 13 weeks ended 10/28/00, revenues rose 66% to $6.52B."

JDSU - "For the 3 months ended 9/30/00, net sales totaled
$786.5M, up from $230.1M."

In fairness though KREMs ratios are mostly lower then the other two. (except its Price/cash flow which is almost 5 times Cisco's.)
