Poet's words were reasonably subject to the interpretation you gave them, imo, as kholt pointed out. But the fact that Poet, on having that pointed out, immediately clarified her meaning would seem to make your assertion that "all day yesterday she was backpedalling" unreasonable. I mean, why is that "backpedalling"? And how is it "all day"? It seems quite an unfair characterization. I guess I misunderstood when I thought you were saying that someone had advocated teaching how to perform oral sex in school. Oops, I mean teaching in school, not performing in school. I assume no one on this thread thinks that would be an appropriate item for a school curriculum.
