It's official. The Prince Naseem Hamed vs Marco Antonio Barrera pay-per-view clash will take place April 7 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. A decision is yet to be made whether it will be a ten or twelve round fight. At the moment, no title is at stake, however that may be remedied by the IBO. In other Hamed news, the Prince indicated he wanted to fight IBF feather champ Mbuelo Botile and dedicate it to injured Paul Ingle.

Heavyweight Obed Sullivan (35-6-1), coming off an impressive draw against top-tenner Larry Donald has been added to Browning Boxing’s card in Houston Thursday night at the Radisson Hotel Astrodome. Sullivan faces Jesus Valdez in a scheduled four rounder. Cruiserweight Jesse Reid Jr. will headline

A collision between IBF #5 heavyweight David Tua vs #4 Dannell Nicholson on March 24 is now official. No venue announced. Showtime will televise.
