Scott, unfortunately there are no coal-fired plants on order or even in the planning stages now. Nuclear is the long term answer, but NOT the current nuclear technology, more research is needed to build a fail-safe plant. The answer must be energy conservation in the short term, clean methods of burning coal in the mid-term, nuclear long term. I am not sure yet who to invest in.
