This is from yesterday's press release regarding Sarin

"Arun Sarin has elected to focus and direct his efforts on InfoSpace's
wireless business and international strategy from his position as vice chairman.
Sarin's extensive travel and commuting schedule caused him to realize that he
could not sustain his pace as InfoSpace CEO and meet family obligations, as his
family resides in the San Francisco Bay area."

Then at the conference call when pressed Sarin says he is sitting on the board only and will not be making any active calls to anyone rather delegating that to others..........

So if you read the release you might think ok Sarin is really not changing his role much but in reality it seems he is just about completely quitting.......so not only is it bad news that Sarin is out but the investment community gets the message that Infospace's press release is bullshit

the next message Jain sends out is either he really has extremely poor judgement or likes to play people for idiots..........

he gives the reason for Sarin and Rosenburg's departure as the fact that they could not give it their full devotion living in California......so why didn't he figure that out before he hired them???????? Since everyone knows Jain is a smart guy the only conclusion here is Jain likes to play people for idiots

These are just recent examples of the kind of negative messages Jain sends to people which have people routing for his demise.....he may be brilliant in running the company from a technical point of view but he has no idea how to handle public relations.....and this is where Go2Net management would of been such a great asset....Russell Horowitz is an elegant speaker and well liked by the investment community....it is truly unfortunate that ego need come between what I thought would be a great union.
