PRESS RELEASE

What do you think?

TORONTO, Jan. 23 /CNW/ - The purpose of this Press Release is to give the
shareholders of International Pursuit Corporation ("IPJ" or the "Company")
(IPJ-TSE) a brief update.

Hinoba Copper Project - Philippines
-----------------------------------
IPJ is in discussions with a prospective purchaser, which is at the
preliminary stages.

A visit to the site is planned for the first week in February with
representatives of IPJ and the possible purchaser.

As these discussions are preliminary, there is no assurance that any
agreement will be reached.

Mineral Exploration
-------------------
IPJ's effort to diversify from mining exploration into high-tech areas
has not been successful. IPJ is examining a number of mining acquisitions,
which would result in the Company's focus returning to the mining sector. Due
to severely depressed commodity prices over the last several years the Company
has avoided investment in this sector.

Management believes that the mining industry is at an early stage of
recovery and therefore the Company's acquisition efforts are being redirected
in this area.

There can be no assurances that the Company will be successful in such
endeavours and if acquisitions are completed, they will require completion of
equity financings.
