Glenn, great article! I have not been so upbeat about CDO in months. First -- if anyone has ever listened to a CDO conference call, then the fact that Nick is gone has to be a huge relief. He just couldn't talk on the call -- he was unfocused, and could not present a logical presentation. I recognize he has a significant stake in CDO, but he was unfit to run the company. But who wants yesterdays papers.

Secondly, the last conference call addressed the need to reduce the debt load -- and not purchase back shares. I applaud this move.

Management is in place to run the company until a further decision can be made (spinoffs or a new CEO), and a focus is upon reducing the debt load. A decreasing interest rate environment will only assist the IPO market and allow IPOs to be initiated in which CDO has stakes and allow CDO to refinance its debt load -- to more favorable terms.
