"Utah, of all states, has such a history of fly-by-night operations in scam stock companies" Not only that, but it seems to be the 'Unofficial Official' headquarters of Phony Science. The cold fusion fuss is only the best known. If you advertise your 'drug' or 'diet' or other remedy in the tabloids and suddenly need to produce a scientific paper claiming it works, when all else fails you can always get some Utah hot shop to produce it for you. Why Utah? I dunno. May have something to do with a population in thrall to the 'Angel Moroni.'
