WCAP 's 685,146 shares of CMRC went up $5 3/16 today added over $3M in value to WCAP. WCAP looks like a good backdoor way to own CMRC.

WCAP 's 685,146 CMRC shares are worth $4 a share. From what I see you get the remainder of WCAP 's public stock holdings for about $1 a share....and all of WCAP investment in private companies for free...(minus debt) sounds good to me, so I'm in for a few shares. See winfieldcapital.com for list of Portfolio holdings

Total valuation for public holdings ......approximately...$32,159,100 as of 1/21/2001 a $7 million dollar discount to WCAP's market cap. I haven't studied the SEC filings, but any thoughts on why WCAP trades at such a discount to the value of their investments?
