Scumbria, Once again you are missing the point. The way to address potential oil shortages in the future is to quit wasting oil now. Drilling in the ANWR is an idiotic response to our wasteful habits. You might have missed it, but I largely agreed with your main points. I am not sure why you have to go to silly extremes and say: "Drilling in the ANWR is an idiotic response to our wasteful habits". I am not necessarily for it now, but it's going to happen one day. One day it will be necessary. As far as telecommuting, I am for it, and have done it in the past, and I currently do it. Based on my experience, the applicability is a lot more limited than wildly optimistic estimates, (but there still a lot of room to expand it). Joe
