I have a 10Mb/sec broadband circuit in my office here. The problems is that I RARELY achieve anywhere close to that speed when i surf because most web sites do not support such fast transmission speed.

Once the critical mass is achieved for broadband networking, the ISP's, ASP's, Portals, ....actually everyone will have to upgrade their servers to dish out data at faster and faster speeds to satisfy the voracious need for information on the net.

I have no doubt that there will be major capacity needs sooner than later.....the key in the interim is to get the financing to build it out which means the less the gov't meddles, the faster the internet will develop into a true high-speed WAN -- because somehow, somewhere, the revenue will have to be generated off the Internet to pay for all this build-out. It's always hard to put up the immense cash needed to build it out but the investment return potential is immense so I've no doubt that the capital market will figure out a way to free up the cash to pay NT to keep building the network to it's full potential.
